Best Hip Hop Albums/EPs of July 2025

The previous month of July 2025 brought forth some pretty dope new Hip Hop Albums & EPs. We got a variety of thought provoking and uplifting projects along with some clever lyrical, raw sounding and easy to vibe to projects. I feel like these releases in the month of July had the most to offer in variety in terms of sound, vibes and thoughtful lyrics. We got a really dope new Album from Dee-1, which I chose as number 1 due to its strongly important message in response to the current state of hip hop, a message he delivers extremely well as an Emcee, Hipocritical Hop is clear and straight to the point vocally and lyrically. Additionally, Homeboy Sandman links with Sonnyjim for Production on "Soli Deo Gloria" and shares a variety of thoughtful messages that reflect on how he views the world, while the Clipse deliver a lyrically clever album that continued to grow in my liking as I kept re listening to the album. It was indeed one of the most hyped hip hop albums that came out in July and rightfully so because the production contributed by Pharell is unique and stands out strongly alongside the Clipse's sharp lyrical precision. You could tell that careful time was put into the craft or producing this album for both the Producer and 2 brother Emcees, Also Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist deliver a spectactular music presentation of music vibes and flows that are sequenced extremely well. Alfredo II is a sonic experience that is very easy to grasp as you listen to freddie's flow coupled with Alchemists super smooth production. We also got a very thought provoking Album from Blueprint, a mature soulful project from Abstract Mindstate, a raw epic project from Raekwon that exemplifies his lyrical style and rhyme persona. We also got dope thoughtful and soulful projects from Tha God Fahim, Arrested Development, Apollo Brown & Bronze Nazareth along with other cool releases from Open Mike Eagle, RJ Payne, Eloh Kush and more.
