"Camden to Covent Garden is a concept-driven instrumental album by Funky DL, inspired by the atmosphere, history and creative energy of two of London's most iconic locations.

The album represents a journey between these spaces, not simply a physical route, but a movement through culture, memory and musical influence.

Built through the traditions of sampling, digging, chopping and re-imagining, each track transforms fragments of sound into something new. Jazz-infused Hip-Hop production, soulful arrangements and carefully woven live instrumentation combine to create a cinematic listening experience.

Tracks such as "Lock Keeper", "Chalk Lines", "Amy's Dream", "Acres Long", "Cobbled Steps" and "Curtain Call" capture different moments along this imagined journey. "Amy's Dream" explores the spirit of a collaboration that never happened, with Funky DL enlisting former Amy Winehouse band member Xantoné Blacq (keys) to help bring the vision of what DL would have produced for Amy to life.
