New Album from highly accomplished and award winning Soca Artist "Machel Montano" entitled "One Degree Hotter" now available on dsps. Machel just recently won the Chutney Soca Award and today it was announced he also won the Road March Contest for his hit New Power Soca Record "PARDY" for Trinidad Carnival 2025. This is his 11 Road March title Win tieing with the late great Calypsonian Artist Lord Kitchener. Earlier this year Machel also appeared on the popular Tiny Desk Concert Series for a spectaculr performance, and in September of 2024 he sold out the Apollo Theatre in NYC muliple nights for his Labor Day Concert Series. This new album features many of his hit singles which came out between last year and this year, that have been spinning heavy for the Carnival Season that took place this past weekend leading up to today. Songs included are his hits like PARDY, Truth and Balance, Bet Meh, Nice Time, Bumpa and more. The whole album is a big soca groove. Check it our now on dsps.
