Taking a break from Frequent New Music Posts

What's good yall, its Cril of Out Da Box, Happy 2026! 2025 was one super busy year, and an amazing one for Hip Hop, Soul, Reggae, Soca and Calypso. However the time that I invested to update this site as often as possible with New Music Posts and Best of the Month Album/EP release lists did take a way a lot from other things I wanted to achieve. It has been quite a journey since I relaunched this blog site in 2022, and I truly thank the community of fans and supporters that have visited this website and interacted with me. But as of now in 2026 I have decided to take a break from posting frequently (including Best Album/EP of the month lists) to now focus on my music career more specifically. As some of you may know, I am an Artist (Emcee and a Producer) and I've put out 2 albums and 2 EPs in recent years. I've often pondered about taking a break from this blogsite to focus specifically on my artistry and promotion, but I've always felt like I could do both, however after looking back at my efforts with creating and promoting my music in the previous years, I realized it would be best to put as much focus as I can specifically on my music and put the frequent blog posts aside for a bit. That being said, I still plan to make posts of significant new Album or EP releases and I'll be doing some occasional Live Music Mixes as I did last year for genres of Hip Hop, Soul, Reggae and Soca, and maybe some other music related content, but for the most part, I will be pulling back from frequent new music posts. As far as my artist experience and progress, feel encouraged to follow my artist page on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, and other DSPS and connect with me on Social Media like Instagram, Youtube and Tiktok @Crilinspires.
