Best Hip Hop Albums/EPs of November 2023

Ok, so November was a pretty interesting month for New Hip Hop Album and EP releases. There were a number of new projects I wasn't expecting to be released and a number of projects that I actually have been looking forward too. My top 2 favorite albums on this list come from Homeboy Sandman and Aesop Rock. These 2 albums are ranked 1 and 2 but honestly either of them can hold the number 1 spot, so it's more like a tie between the two for November. Also, interestingly the two artists have a collaborated a number of times with projects on the duo name "Lice" so it's pretty dope that they are each featured as my top favorite hip hop albums for Nov 2023.

Homeboy Sandman excels with relatable and intriguing lyrics on his "I Can't Sell These Either" Mixtape/Album, selecting some amazing beats from producers he admires and always wanted to rhyme over. Also Aesop Rock displays clever lyricsm and an amazing ability to display different flows, different vocal inflections and dope story telling on multiple tracks via his new concept album "Integrated Tech Solutions".

Another favorite album on my list for November comes from producer "Blockhead" who interestingly has a strong connection to Aesop Rock as well, since the two have often and frequently collaborated together for music in the past. This new album entitled "The Aux" by Blockhead is clearly a Producer compilation album but he really puts together a rich and sonically pleasing project to compliment the amazing Hip Hop Artists featured. The album features a number dope current and veteran Undergound Hip Hop Emcees from billy woods to Navy Blue, Quelle Chris, Defcee, Bruiser Wolf (who's on of my favorite and most entertaining emcees today), The Koreatown Oddity, Armand Hammer, Breeze Brewin, Casual, Aesop Rock and much more.

Another dope album that was released in November and probably the most Boom Bap Soulful Album of them all is from Veteran Emcee "Edo. G" entitled "We Do Good". Lyrics are always mature and relatable. Grown man hip hop at its finest and to my understanding he did most of the beats himself.

Alot of other dope Albums/EPs came out this month that you'll find in the list below but these are my top 4 currently. Check out my full "Best of Hip Hop list" in rank order from 1 thru 21 below. The majority of these projects are available currently on traditional DSPS howver there are two that are currently exclusively on bandcamp. I noted which projects are only on bandcamp below. Also as a bonus, below I listed some of dope new Instrumental Projects that came out as well in November. Highlighting the highly talked about debut Solo Instrumental Album from the legendary and accomplished Outkast Artist "Andre 3000", alos some other dope instrumental hip hop and soul projects that came out. Check out that list below

Also, as usual check out our "Best Of" Hip Hop Playlist for the Month of November 2023, to hear some of the dope new stand alone singles from other Creative and Conscious Hip Hop artists, as well as album track selections from this ranked list, via our Spotify Playlist "New Hip Hop ( November 2023)".
