The month of February 2024 provided some really good New Soul Project releases. Lots of new Albums/EPs from talented Singers and musicians. A number of these artists are completely new to me, and it feels good to know that Soul and RnB is still reppin strong in 2024. We got new Projects from Singers "Koryn Hawthorne, Shaé Universe, Russel Thompkins Jr., Jordan Mackampa, Annie Tracy, Usher, Sonny Miles, Erika de Casier, Shirley Jones and The Jones Girls, Pip Millet, Fatima" and more. My absolute favorite projects on this list are the top 5 in rank order, but the others are pretty good as well. Koryn Hawthorne's Album "On God" is upbeat and RnB Refreshing. The majority of the tracks hit right away and there's plenty of inspiring and uplifting songs to groove to. Shaé Universe's "Love Letter" Album is on the slower RnB side but the Melodies are soothing and soulfully pleasing. Her voice is warm and vocally satisfying. My favorite two tracks on the album are "Love Self" and "More Than Enough" feat. Lalah Hathaway. Russel Thompkins Jr. brings the vocals back to place of vintage soul, as he's achieved for years as the lead singer of the legendary Stylistics. Singer "Jordan Mackampa" brings a modern Soulful vibe that's easy to catch a groove to on "Welcome Home, Kid!", also his lyrics are inspirational and uplifting, and Annie Tracy keeps her music intriguing and easy to enjoy, with each track that builds consistently through her "ACT II" EP. These are my Top 5 favorite Soul Projects in rank order but there were a lot more dope new Soul Projects, followed in rank order below from 1 thru 15. Everything after can fluctuate in order.
