Okay, so last month, I admit I didn’t keep track of most of the dope “New Soul” Projects that came out in January, so I put together a list of my favorite New Soul Albums and EPs to come out in both January and February of 2022. Now this list is not as extensive as my Best of Hip Hop list for the month, I posted earlier but this my solid picks in order from 1 through 12. By the way Robert Glasper’s “Black Radio III” is so good I consider it to be Album of the year so far! That’s why it’s my number 1 but the other albums by Laday Wray, Sassy Black and Mary J Blige and more are really good also. Enjoy! Most of these projects are on digital streaming platforms, just a few are currently exclusively on bandcamp. I may add more to this list as I learn about dope New Soul projects that came out in the mont of February but this will be the bulk of the list.
