New EP from Syracuse born, Trinidad raised Emcee "AKachi" ent.itled "Koncept Art" now available on bandcamp. This EP actually came out in March 2022 of this year but I'm just finding about it. AKachi rhymes with a distinct Trinidadian accent but displays lyrics full of thought provoking subject matter throughout the entire project. Most of the Beats have a modern trap music sound but the lyrical content is very conscientous dealing with socially political topics impacting African People of America and the Diaspora. What I appreciate alot about his music in addition to the thoughtful subjects he addresses, is his confidence to be true to self and rap in his authentic Trinidadian accent.
