“An album that began with a simple string of conversations in 2021 between producer Anthony Church and fellow Ohio rapper Grizz eventually blossomed into what became known as "Solace".

The project brings out a visceral and much grittier side of Church's usually mellowed out beats in order to help match the topic matter touched on in Grizz's lyrics.

Serving as a real-time form of therapy, each of these cuts provide a space for personal reflection and honesty in the face of unrelenting adversity.

Despite the chaos and turbulence, the hope at the end of each and every day is to find solace in some sort of shape and form. That is something we all can relate to.

With this body of work, Grizz does so through the music.
