"I've been contemplating doing this song for a while now, and after the Basketball Team of my City "The New York Knicks" Won their long awaited 2026 NBA Championship on June 13th, 2026 (to close a 53 year drought), I felt it was absolutely necessary to offer my musical contribution in celebration of their journey and amazing win. I have been a fan of the New York Knicks since the 1990's and it was so special to watch their journey to victory this NBA season.
