"This week, we make a personal acknowledgement about the recognized establishment of the culture and artform of hip-hop. Amongst rumors of decreased sales and cancelled tour dates of some of the current and more popular hip-hop artists, there appears to be a renaissance of the 'old guard' who appear to be doing quite well on the tour circuit. At the 50th anniversary of hip-hop people have appeared to now require a more complete and authentic expression from artists, which have caused nostalgia from the former generation. Many of us remember when hip-hop presented us with the results of DJs and producers 'digging in the crates' looking for 'dusty grooves' for a 'worthy emcee' to spit provocative lyrics over. My brother, Sunny Arson, and I are from that era. So in this week's installment of "Ride and Vibe" we present to you "MOONROOF DIARIES".
